The winter season often gets a bad rap. It’s freezing, fallen snow means limited footwear options, and skin tones get increasingly lighter. This often makes finding the perfect outfit for a winter wedding close to impossible. Everyone is tired of the the boring little black dress and pair of tights.
The Gatsby Wedding
Instead of throwing on your old LBD, search your closet for some color. Jewel tones are flattering on almost every skin type and save you from looking like every other guest at the wedding. Adding lengths gives a touch of formality, but its simple shape and material allow the same easy air as your go to summer dress.
Important side note: shoes are always always important.
The Black Tie Wedding
Wearing black to a black tie wedding? Groundbreaking. While the color may not be totally out of the box, its material and silhouette are all you need to make a statement. Pair this look with a classic red lip and a statement choker to amp up its effect.
Important side note: wearing red lipstick means touching it up all night, but it is oh so worth it.
The Boho Chic Wedding
Who says boho weddings are only for the summer? Certainly not most brides. Who says finding the right dress for a winter boho wedding is easy? No one until now. Lucky for us, Lulu’s makes the perfect dress for this occasion (and all occasions actually).
Important side note: no amount of twirling is ever enough.
